Kissing Sweet Breath? Maybe not.
Have you ever thought about what is in your dog's mouth when he kisses you? We all love kisses from our dogs, but when doggie's bad breath makes you cringe, it may be a sign of something more serious lurking within.

On this week's PET VET, Dr. Jenna Castner explains why brushing teeth isn't just for people anymore...it's for dogs too!
Bad breath in dogs not only makes you cringe, but it can also be an indicator of tooth decay that may lead to a life-threatening disease.
Dr. Jenna's tips on how to get your dog used to the process:
- To accustom the dog, first put the dog toothpaste on your finger.
- Then, start using a finger toothbrush.
- Finally, brush the dog's teeth using a regular toothbrush.
