TOP RESCUE CAT: TOUT SUITE with MEGAN

One night at a North Carolina nursing home, the ladies were spending their break time throwing pieces of snack food to a tiny little wild kitten. It would scurry out of the bushes like a rat, snatch up a snack, and then dart back into the darkness.
Nearby, a car drove up. It was our own Megan Blake visiting her father. On the way over, Megan had been thinking about her intense travel schedule and she'd been considering adopting a small dog to be her traveling companion. As she approached the front entrance of the home, a flash of fur suddenly touched her legs. Megan reached down and grabbed the creature by the scruff of its neck...it was the same little kitten that had been entertaining the ladies. The kitty was so starved that its spine stuck up like a sharp stick, and its belly was swollen round with parasites. The kitten appeared to be only six or seven weeks old and thus, had probably been abandoned by a human, since no kitten that small would wander away from its mother. The kitty was wild, weak...and very worried!
It began to dawn on Megan that perhaps the "pocket puppy" she was considering as a future travel companion, might be turning out to be a "travel kitty." Megan took the cat home, nursed him back to health, and decided to give him a name worthy of a world traveler: She had just returned from France, so she chose the French phrase "Tout Suite," which which means "immediately" or "right now." It seemed to fit the kitten's impetuous, impatient personality to a "T."
Little did either Megan or Tout Suite realize that they would eventually travel thousands of miles together...each comforting the other. And little did "Tout Suite the Travel Kitty" realize that he would become a regular performer on a Public Television program called Animal Attractions TV, doing his part to demonstrate kitty travel care to millions of pet lovers everywhere. Megan is pictured above with her two rescue dogs Spirit and Guardian. Stay tuned for their Top Rescue Dog story soon.
