“Horse Angels”… teaching kids to fly!
Have you ever heard of horses having the power to put a cancer patient’s disease into remission? At Angel Heart Farms the love of a horse could be a life changing experience.

Somewhere up in the hills of Tennessee is a little piece of heaven, a place where “Horse Angels”, have changed the lives of children with life threatening diseases. It all began because of a dream that owner and three time cancer survivor Tracy Kujawa had one night in which she was giving riding lessons to bald headed children. While she was going through her own cancer treatment Tracy discovered that riding her horse made her feel better and decided that if it works for her it must work for kids as well. Tracy was first struck with cancer in 1998 when she was 32 and then the next year and again in 2003. The companionship and love that helped pull her through came from her Arabian horse, Khuryai, the first of the “Horse Angels”. Now Tracy has 9 “Horse Angels” at Angel Heart Farm. Two were given by country western superstar Alan Jackson.
Angel Heart Farm has served 87 families since it was created and has helped to heal kids with diseases ranging from AIDS to sickle-cell anemia.
